Video Production Project

This video is from a film production class. This was a student group project film. We did the entire project from writing the script, to the final edit. This is a copy of my final edit. It was a fun project because we learned what it really took to shoot a movie. The biggest thing that I learned was the amount of time that a project like this takes and how to make sure that all the shots are accounted for properly. I also found out the manpower that a production takes, even when it is a student film. Everyone needs to have a position and do it to the best of their ability.

Brett Ravenberg Senior Highlight Video

This is a highlight video that we produced as a group of Brett Ravenberg #50 on the Utah Valley University Basketball team. This is one of three seniors that was graduating in April 2009. One of highlights of my college career is being the Technical Director for the Basketball games of the 2009 year. We produced 13 games for the year and enjoyed learning the aspects of live broadcasting. I have been hired by UVU to technical direct other activities for the University. For the 2008 I was a cameraman for the basketball season, running floor cameras and gamecam. During the live broadcast class we filmed the news for the campus wide broadcast.

Solitude Ski Resort Highlight Video

As a senior project at Utah Valley University we as students contracted with SkiUtah.com to film and edit all 13 ski resorts in the state of Utah. We made a DVD as a promotional piece to send out to potential clients coming to Utah to ski. This is a highlight video of Solitude Ski Resort. Utah still has the greatest snow on earth and the best skiing!

I was a PA on this current movie that is in the works of being produced.

Archangel Alpha is a sci-fi war story of love and loss in a world teetering on the brink of Armageddon." That's the logline to this fantastic looking film which is inspired by anime and sweet Japanese robots. Here's a synopsis: "Three friends (Elena, Alexandra and Grigori) have their relationship pushed to the breaking point when they find themselves on opposite sides of a devastating war. In the midst of the final deciding battle, Grigori is killed by Alex. Elena and Alex are both shot down. They confront each other just as The Beast, a merciless AI weapon, is released onto the battlefield. The Beast goes rogue and turns against both sides, annihilating both armies and initiating a nuclear launch between the warring nations. In the aftermath, Elena and Alex must escape the killing grounds while coming to terms with their actions."
